PorPromin says...

Por Promin Muay Thai Boxing Camp is a Traditional Muay Thai Boxing Camp. We cater for the experienced fighters, who want to test their mettle against opponents in the ring as well as beginners and those of you who'd just like to 'give it a go for the experience'.

Located 2 hours south of the capital Bangkok in Hua Hin, we're blessed with a beautiful hillside location just 10 minutes outside of Hua Hin town centre however still within easy reach of the beach.

Por Promin Muay Thai is owned and managed by Kru Kin, who has over 30 years Muay Thai Boxing experience alone, with fifteen years specifically teaching Foreigners in Thailand, England and even Spain. He has fought in the famous Lumpini and Ratchamadoen Stadiums in Bangkok as well as abroad in Australia, Korea and England. He most recently fought and beat the two time World Champion Imran Khan from Wicker Camp whilst he was teaching in England for two years.

We offer the Traditional Muay Thai boxing training sessions in the morning (07:00 - 09:30) and afternoon (16:00 - 19:00) for beginners and professionals of all ages for Fitness, Fun and/or Fighting. Private tuition and kids classes are also available.

About Us
Last updated: 14th Dec 2012

Por Promin Muay Thai Boxing Camp is a Traditional Muay Thai Boxing Camp. This means we have both Thai and Western professional fighters living, training and fighting for us on a permanent basis and have the necessary connections to take you to fight, first locally, as we're lucky to have plenty of local stadiums in Hua Hin and then to the likes of Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok, Omnoi Stadium, Channel 7, Asawindam and shows such as Thai Fight.

Located 2 hours south of the capital Bangkok in Hua Hin, we're blessed with a beautiful hillside location just 10 minutes outside of Hua Hin town centre and still within easy reach of the beach.

Por Promin Muay Thai, opened in April 2011, is owned and managed by Kru Kin, an ex Lumpini fighter, who has over 30 years Muay Thai Boxing experience alone, with fifteen years specifically teaching Foreigners in Thailand, England and Spain. He is an extremely popular teacher in the Muay Thai world with a special talent for building fighters.

You will definitely learn a lot with Kin and his team of carefully selected trainers:

Kru Sek from Loei in Isaan (ex-fighter with around 200 fights)
Kru Dala from Pattalung (ex-fighter with around 200+ fights)
Kru Daeng (Kin's younger brother) (ex-fighter (Ratchamandoen Stadium) around 150 fights)
Trainer Sa from Buri Ram in Isaan (current fighter, has fought in Lumpini, Omnoi, Channel 7)
Trainer M from Hua Hin (local Muay Thai fanatic and Community Police Office, actually very good trainer and sparring partner!!)

Current fighters are:
Jack Por Promin (from England - has been with us since we opened and has had over 22 fights and has fought in Lumpini twice so far)
Suzie Por Promin (from England - has been with us for six months and lives here in Hua Hin, fought for us 3 times so far and Won against 3 times World Champion Chantal Ughi in her last fight.)
Toni Por Promin (from Finland - a kickboxer turned Muay Thai figher - has been with us for four times and fought 3 times so far and is planning to stay a year)
Rambo Por Promin (from Denmark) - has been with us for two months, an amatuer Champion Boxer and MMA and K1 fighter she is here with us for 7 months in total and is having her first Muay Thai fight soon)
Kaowonggod Por Promin - from Buri Ram in Isaan - he is also a trainer - a very experienced fighter he has fought over 200 times and continues to fight extremely well, as a great example for our Western fighters
Ittipon 'Mafia' Por Promin - from Buri Ram in Issan - a little monster, he is only ten years old and has been fighting for us since we opened! An extremely feisty and clever fighter, he's had about 15 fights so far and is definitely going places! One to watch out for!
