(Muay Thai Camp) A Review Of Honour Muay Thai By Jonnylaw89
I'm Jonny i've done muay Thai for 7 years, fought 4 times in Thailand and been to Thailand 3 times England, visa was easy 1 month (after 2 months in chiang mai at a different gym I traveled her to get a fight as I was having problems in chiang mai, great decision) My friend trained here and had lots of good things to say about it, I moaned at him about my gym not getting me fights in chiang mai and he asked the promoter how easily i'd get a fight at my weight (95-100kg) then went down in search of a fight You are allowed to take things at your own pace, will be pushed though and are always being directed with something to do never just waiting around Incredible!!! the best i've had in Thailand! didn't just train you they TAUGHT you! learnt loads every day no problems at all, all trainers could communicate without problems All very new equipment, mirrors, ring, bags, pads etc all new 19,500 Baht included training, accommodation and food. the best value for money i've found in Thailand very good, regular occurrence for the guys to fight on max one fight, 95kg I won on max muay Thai . loads of big guys to match in pattaya (had to leave chiang mai because I just couldn't get a fight partly due to my weight partly due to my gym being lazy) Got the honour of fighting on max muay Thai !! never saw anyone take a dive like I had many times in phuket/chiang mai, fighters here fight all over Thai land and even abroad, the gym has lots of contacts and is pro active in finding you a fight (should you want to fight of course) Accommodation on the camp is basic but good, loads of affordable places nearby if you require I stayed in the gym as part of a package, however there are lots of cheap places within a few minutes walking distance Excellent, never went hungry, delicious home cooked food loads of nice places near by, about the same cost as chiang mai, same quality food i've had all over Thai land walking street is 10 minutes away, it's pattaya so as expected it's the best place in Thailand in terms of night life You're close enough to the nightlife that it's there if you want, but not in your face. and there's still lots to do aimed at tourists should you be so inclined
it may be and it may be not , but this just reads like a sponsored review to me ....
Hawkman, i'm in no way sponsored by this gym, not sure why you'd infer that from my review but I guess anyone can write a review so good ones can often have alterior motives.
I was very thankful to all at honor muay Thai , and having trained at various gyms and realized how hard it was to find good camps based on reviews the least I could do for the gym was leave a good review.
I'm on Facebook (Jonny Waterhouse) if you or anyone wants to scope my profile or message me, you can see from there that i'm not affiliated with this gym or a sponsered fighter (i've had a grand total of 1 fight in the last 4.5 years) and am a full time student here in Norwich, England
Thank you for the review Jonnylaw89 please come back and see us when you have free time.
There are much more fights in Bangkok/Phuket & Pattaya for the heavier weights.
However, I'm surprised you couldn't get a fight in CM even during the low season, there are loads of gyms here now and they seem to be busy to!
